We are proud to share that we have launched our 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report, Brilliance Meets Integrity.
The report documents Dimexon’s ESG achievements in CY2024, and sets new sustainability, ethics and provenance goals for the coming years. This is the fourth ESG report we have published since committing to annual reporting in 2022.

“The year was marked by several meaningful partnerships and strategic collaborations that are paving the way towards a more sustainable diamond industry, including our work with UN Women Empowerment Principles, the Watch & Jewellery Initiative 2030, and the Dubai Diamond Conference. We also made strong progress on our decarbonisation journey, switching to solar power at our Coimbatore site, achieving Zero Waste to Landfill certification, committing to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), and participating in the UN-backed Race to Zero campaign.”
Dimexon’s ESG report focuses on four pillars: Environmental Synergy, Product Integrity, Social Stewardship, and Responsible Business Conduct. Within each pillar are key KPIs and forward-looking pledges that guide and check our continued efforts to position itself as a leader in transparent and ethical business practices within the diamond industry.
Highlights from this year’s report include:
Environmental Synergy
- Our first biodiversity assessment was conducted
- 35% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions compared to base year CY2019
- 34% of total group energy was consumed from renewable sources
- 75% reduction in national grid dependence at Coimbatore due to solar power
- 11,432kl of wastewater was recycled and reused
- Zero Liquid Discharge at our Coimbatore manufacturing unit
- Zero Waste to Landfill at our Coimbatore site with a 100% Platinum Diversion Rate for hazardous waste, and a 98.07% Platinum Diversion Rate for non-hazardous waste
- 100% coverage across nine Scope 3 categories (1-7, 9, 13)
Product Integrity
- 100% rough and polished diamond suppliers aligned with Dimexon’s responsible sourcing policy
- 100% origin-based, system-driven, auditable traceability information for single diamonds (certified)
- 100% input-mix ratios based, system-driven, auditable traceability information for multi-stone parcels (uncertified)
- 330 active suppliers in 2024, up from 288 in 2023
Social Stewardship
- 76% female workforce
- 91% of staff taking parental leave returned to work
- 4,034 hours of staff training delivered, up 43% year on year
Responsible Business Conduct
- Certified RJC member
- De Beers Sightholder
- World Diamond Council member, with Dimexon director Rajiv Mehta serving on the board
- Zero cases of bribery or corruption
- Zero data, privacy or security breaches
